Chimney Corner v Wakehurst
From the off, it was all Wakehurst and Conor Gregg opened the scoring on 13 minutes after good work by Stephen Mellon.
On 20 minutes, Jason Paul made it two for Wakehurst with the Corner defence struggling and this was again evidenced two minutes later when Jason Paul made it 3-0 to Wakehurst with Lee McCaughern doing provider.
Unfortunately for Wakehurst, the in-form Jason Paul had to retire on 33 minutes with an ankle injury and he was replaced by Ryan Young.
On 39 minutes Conor Gregg made it four for Wakehurst from a good Mark Crawford cross to put them well in the driving seat at half time.
The second half started in the same vein with Wakehurst well on top and despite the Wakehurst continuous pressure, Chimney Corner held out until the 75th minute when Conor Gregg got his hat trick heading in a Lee McCaughern free kick to bring his season total to 19.
Corner's only effort of the game came on 83 minutes but Marc Maybin saved well bearing in mind he had been a bystander for most of the game.
