Wakehurst played Moyola Park on Saturday and came out the wrong side of a five goal match, losing 3-2.

It was a game of two halves with Wakehurst dominating the first without getting the goals to show for it.  From the start it was all Wakehurst and Lee McCaughern and Roy Colville both came close in the opening five minutes.

On 14 minutes, Wakehurst had two corners in quick succession but were unable to break down the Moyola defence.  On 25 minutes, Wakehurst got the breakthrough they deserved when Conor Gregg finished off a good move to give Wakehurst the edge.

Moyola came into the game towards the end of the half with a corner and a free kick but neither troubled Marc Maybin in the Wakehurst goal.

The second half was only five minutes old when Moyola equalised through Kenning.

Wakehurst went ahead three minutes later when Jason Paul made it 2-1 at the second attempt after the Moyola keeper was unable to hold his shot and he made no mistake from the rebound.

On 65 minutes Moyola were level again when McQuillan headed home a free kick to make it 2-2.

Wakehurst should have went ahead on 66 minutes when Mark Crawford played Jason Paul in with a good pass but the keeper made a great stop from Paul's shot.

On 70 minutes Moyola made it three when McQuillan got his second of the day and although Wakehurst pressed hard for the equaliser, Moyola held out to gain a valuable three points for them.
